The University of the Incarnate Word has broken ground for the new Feik School of Pharmacy, named for John W. Feik, president and chief operating officer of DFB Pharmaceuticals. The Feik family provided the initial funding for the school, which will be the first private professional school of pharmacy in Texas, and will be the first in the U.S. to offer Spanish-language certification when it opens in the fall of 2007.
